LEE
VALLEY INVESTS IN NEW TRAINING METHODS
January 2007

Lee
Valley Leisure Pool provides innovative new training methods for
its gym members
through Quick Leisure's Training Cub.
The site, managed by Leisure Connection on
behalf of the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, continues to
build the leisure offering available to its Harpers’ Fitness
members. The Training Cub installment highlights investment into
innovative design and new fitness equipment in order to improve
the leisure services of the Lee Valley area.
Sam Howells, Company Sports Scientist at Leisure Connection
comments, "The Training Cub is a great alternative to
standard exercise routines and many of our members have given us
very positive feedback after using it. The abs and strength
workouts have proved very popular with everyone so far and I am
sure that they will continue to do so.”
The Training Cub’s versatility helps to support personal
trainers in structuring and providing exercise programmes, where
they can pre-set workouts during peak periods, helping to
increase and attract new clients.
Sam goes on to say, “The machine is great for more reserved or
self-conscious members who prefer to train on their own or in
small groups without having to approach Fitness Instructors to
remind them of how to do certain exercises - the younger members
also love the machine as it is a fun way of exercising. It has
definitely improved the variety of workouts which we can offer
to our customers without overloading our staff with additional
work." |
