SUCCESS
AT SIBEC
January 2007
The
annual SIBEC forum welcomed newcomers Quick Leisure to their
2006 event in Portugal.
In its 10th successful year, SIBEC attracts a
multitude of health & fitness industry professionals and
experts from around the globe.
Entering the event for the first time this year, Quick Leisure,
part of the Quick Holdings plc group, made an impressive
contribution to the forum, unveiling their innovative Class
Mentor for the first time to SIBEC and its attendees.
Ron Jones, Managing Director at Quick Leisure comments, “SIBEC
introduced us to an array of multi-site operators. A number of
sales in addition to very strong leads were all made at SIBEC.”
Quick Leisure’s Class Mentor is a system that allows clubs to
run classes without an instructor - convenient for members and
ensuring optimum use of studio space and time. Ron goes on to
say, “The Class Mentor itself is not only an innovative
facilities solution, but from a business perspective it enables
operators to reduce their overheads.”
This year’s sold-out SIBEC event attracted 230 industry
professionals and key decision makers including over 140
supplier delegates from 85 companies covering over 40 product
categories.
“The tenth anniversary of SIBEC played host to our biggest and
most prolific event to date. This year we welcomed Quick Leisure
on board for their first event, they were very well-received and
a topic of much conversation within the meetings forum”
comments Nigel Wallace, Event Director for SIBEC UK &
Europe. “Overall, the response has been tremendous and it is
rewarding to know that both buyer and supplier attendees
continue to value the returns they achieve from SIBEC”
SIBEC provides a great platform and environment in which leaders
and new entrants into the leisure industry can develop new
contacts on a business and social level. An event that continues
to grow each year, the opportunities at SIBEC have established
it as a key calendar date among leisure representatives. |
